CHARCOAL BERRY DETOX SMOOTHIE:

Ok so you are looking at this saying wtf is she up to now, before you run away from this black goodness let me explain! It's Fall , time to get into serious detox self love mode post summer craziness

Activated Charcoal is a game changer in the detox world and has so many uses, everything from a teeth whitener to a water filter but before I go off on a tangent today we are focusing on its detox properties!

Activated charcoal helps to bind to toxins and chemicals and remove them from the body. Therefore drinking it is a powerful way to help your body detox and remove these nasties in your bod and ITS COMPLETELY TASTELESS!!

This smoothie has a super clean collagen protein and turmeric as an anti inflammatory making it a perfect way to sneak CHARCOAL into your system! *Please note because this packs a punch it's recommended you have it in the afternoon so it doesn't effect any medication, it can be used daily however give your body one rest day from it per week.

1/2 tsp turmeric

1 tsp activated charcoal

2 scoops of vital proteins collagen peptides (all my plant based babes out there can use a vegan vanilla protein instead)

3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/2 cup water

3/4 cup frozen raspberries

 

HOW:

  • Add all ingredients to a Bullet blender
  • Blend
  • Serve in a glass, top with turmeric and a raspberry and BOOM. Detox heaven.

CACAO CHERRY COCONUT AKA "CHERRY RIPE" SMOOTHIE

"Cherry Ripe" classic Aussie chocolate and this smoothie is about as close as it gets as far as a smoothie goes. Not a bad post workout recovery treat at all, so thick you'll need to eat it with a spoon (HUGE WIN!) annnnnnd with zero guilt. This bad boy will have to make a regular appearance I think. 

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup of Frozen Cherries
1 cup of water
1 scoop of Vega protein and greens
1 tsp Cacao powder
1 tbs Cacao nibs
1 tbs shredded coconut

BLEND!!

CARROT CAKE BATTER SMOOTHIE

Ok so its been a while since my last recipe upload, shit has been CRAY. 
Still no excuse, so here's a super simple smoothie to kick start the recipe influx! Yewwwwwwwww!!
 

   Here's how:     1 scoop Slender blend @proteinworld OR vega protein @vega_team (for Paleo   and Vegan   version)   1 cup water    1 Carrot      1/2 apple (peeled and chopped) 1/2 tsp of Cinnamon   1 tbs flaxseeds  1 tsp of fresh chopped Ginger Ice BLEND!!


Here's how: 

1 scoop Slender blend @proteinworld OR vega protein @vega_team (for Paleo and Vegan version)
1 cup water 
1 Carrot 
1/2 apple (peeled and chopped)
1/2 tsp of Cinnamon  
1 tbs flaxseeds 
1 tsp of fresh chopped Ginger
Ice
BLEND!!

PB2 & CHERRY RECOVERY SMOOTHIE

Recovering after a workout is just as important as the workout!
During a workout muscle tissues are torn and need to be rebuilt in order for lean muscles to form, protein is the key component for making this happen. When in liquid form it enters the bloodstream faster to get to work, meaning post workout smoothies are where its at!

INGREDIENTS:
3 x tbs of "The Slender Blend" from Protein world
1 x cup Almond Milk
2 x tbs of PB2 powder
1 x tbs of Flaxseeds
1 x cup of Ice
1 cup of frozen Cherries

HOW:
- Blend 1 cup of Cherries and 1/4 cup of Almond Milk and pour into glass
- Then in a separately blend the protein, ice, flaxseeds, PB2 and 3/4 cup of almond milk.
- Pour on top of cherry mix, top with flax seeds and almonds annnnnd you have smoothie heaven.
